Your world is generally a very safe place. You may have to deal with family issues, social issues, school challenges or a job. But for the most part, you don’t encounter situations where you have to really protect yourself.
But as we see in the news, there are very real dangers out there and the purpose of our Women' Self Defense program is to give you a basic set of tools to keep yourself safe.
What is our program about?
Although there is an abundance of violence in modern society, the premise of our Training Program is that there is plenty we can do to minimize the odds of it happening to us.
Can someone take every precaution possible to stay safe and still be attacked? Of course. But with the right preparation, the right training, and the right mindset, the odds will be strongly stacked in your favor.
Our Women's Self Defense Training is based on recognition, avoidance, and defense. Physical self-defense strategies should only be used when there are no other options.
In order to be effective, self-defense strategies should be simple to learn, easy to apply, and incredibly effective. And that is exactly what you’ll get from the Villari's Women's Self Defense Training program.
Women's Self Defense Training
In course, we’ll teach you The Five Steps to Personal Safety: Create Safe Habits, Be Aware But Not On Guard, Trust Your Intuition, Take Immediate Action, Learn from Your Experiences and the Experiences of Others.
You will learn to recognize and avoid potentially dangerous circumstances and we’ll teach you basic techniques to immobilize an aggressor and how to escape before you can be harmed.
This seminar is for women ages 13 and up, with or without Martial Arts Training experience. Parents are highly encouraged to attend with your daughters.
You will need to wear comfortable clothing for exercising, water, and most Important: A Positive Attitude.
Be ready to start on time. Arrive 15 minutes prior to the start time to warm-up and stretch.
Bring your friends, co-workers, sisters, mothers, daughters or anyone you think may benefit.
